My journey in accounting began in the early 2000s. I was building websites to fund college and finishing my first accounting course when a client asked me to help with his books. He couldn't find anyone else he could trust. I've always loved learning new software so I dove head first into Quickbooks. It wasn't long before I was doing payroll, sales tax, and managing finances.
Over the last 20 years I've worked with a variety of organizations as an employee, independent contractor, managing member, and volunteer. I’ve been involved with multiple startups, partner of a cosmetic laser clinic, board member of a co-op, and Vice President of a medical device service company.
I understand the challenges small business owners face. That's why I formed Bryson Bahrs, LLC - to serve as a dedicated ally for small businesses.
